Forced to flee their home, Agnes and Henry arrive in the grand city of Grimsburg, packed to the brim with ill-intentioned men. With the help of Otto, the innkeeper of the Limping Duck, they will have to claw their way into this hostile environment or succumb to it.
Corruption Town is a pure corruption game with a slow progression, which happens through gameplay and scripted sequences.

To run the game on Linux or Mac don't forget to set the execution permission on the executable.
Procedure on Mac:
• Right-click the app • Click Show Package Contents • Open the Contents folder • Open the MacOS folder • Open a new Finder window. • Go to your Applications folder. • Open the Utilities folder • Open Terminal • Type in (without the quotes) "chmod +x " • Go to the first Finder window without hitting enter in Terminal • Drag the file with the same name as the app (and without an extension), and drop it into the Terminal window. • Click on the Terminal window and hit enter.

The "Enter Content Code" option is not displayed on the in-game settings screen.
Content code is no longer used in versions greater than 0.7. The bonus content is already included in the paid build.

You need to play the game to unlock the scenes.Or you can use the debug feature to unlock everything: Config -> Debug -> Main Menu Debug Window -> Unlock All Scenes

Hey I just bought the game on steam thinking I can install it on Mac. It doesn't allow me as it says invalid platform. Is there any way for me to download it on to my Mac??

I do not get what is the purpose of having the "control desire" buttons?
Even if the player uses them, the corruption will go up anyway, just because the "totalsight" reached a certain threshold e.g. 39 for level 2.
Just sitting idle at the Bar makes the customers to watch her and increases Agnes corruption level much faster, than when she interacts with them, takes orders, serves drinks etc...
Is this intentional or is this a bug? ???
And why "art of dodging perverts" needs 15 points already investead?
I would expect the opposite (0 points needed). A "pure" woman should be harder to corrupt than someone who is already a slut....?
Skill points represent her abilities as a waitress, which are decoupled from her corruption.

To allow for a pure route, without trivializing it by placing it further down the tree.
The desire gauge control if Agnes will accept a client interaction, not her corruption rising. Hover your mouse over the corruption gauge to see the different thresholds.
I understand this. But I do not understand the purpose of having them alltogether. In "Karryn’s Prison" game they make sense since one of the game goals is to finish the game as pure as possible... But in Corruption Town they do not unless you intend to add a not corrupted route in the future

No, make sure Henry content is activated in the config menu.

There's 2 minor mistakes in the dice game :
- a xxxyy full house against a yyyxx full house result in a draw, and it should not. For exemple, a 6-6-6-2-2 should win against a 2-2-2-6-6.
- In the tutorial, if I remember corectly, It is said that the straight is stronger than a 4 of a kind, but in game, the 4 of a kind win against a straight. I don't really know wich one should be stronger, because the probabilities are different from Poker.
I also have a suggestion : it's too easy to win once you can cheat and change one dice. I would suggest to set a refresh time (every 3 turn for exemple).

@someaustralian: my itch purchase included a key for the Steam version also, I would assume yours does also.
When I look at my Steam - Account Details, the Purchase History page does NOT have Corruption Town (because I did not "purchase" it on Steam), and the Product Activations page says the acquisition method was "Retail" instead of "Steam Store" like most of the rest.
What's the issue?
Sorry, no issue, I was just replying to @someaustralian that their "purchased again on Steam" might have actually been from using the key activation from their itch purchase.

There is a bug (race condition) with the events "BarHenryPeeping", "BarHenryVisitWhileAgnesWork" and "CanHenryObserveAgnesAtWork".
It took me more than 15 in-game days to trigger "BarHenryPeeping" and Henry's corruption got higher (without actually appearing in the bar) during those 15days. I guess I was very unlucky and had to try 31 consecutive times to trigger the correct event....
please fix this...
